Up and Away

So, a pre-4AM post. I find myself with downtime today, so I felt like making a post. On the way home last night, Greg and I stopped and chatted with Eddie a bit. Come to find out that Eddie might be able to get us a discount on an apartment in his complex.

This works out pretty good for both of us. While I have no real need to escape my comfortable surroundings, I'd prefer to venture out at some point, and this is as good as any. Greg on the other hand, needs to get away from the little bastards that live in his house, as soon as possible. I'm still looking to see if I can afford it and still have an actual life, so we'll find out what comes of this.

In other news, they've set a tenative date for Dad's surgery: February 14th. I suppose I'll get more tense about it as time closes the gap, but I'm kinda relaxed right now. Plenty of time to freak out later.

The Site

Man, what the hell is wrong with me? All my posts come after 3AM, I'm crazy.

Oh, right. The Site. So www.corranhorn.com is now fully live and has the new layout working (so far) without any problems. Report anything you find or I'll have to kill you later for not doing it. The vast majority of the galleries are online in the Photo section, and I'm updating the Snapshot! gallery with pic every few days.

I had a lot of fun on Saturday attending the Geek Squad ReindeerMobile Parade, and hope to have a digitized clip of said parade on the site within a few weeks, but no guarentees. Check the Photo section under Snapshot for some pics from the swarm.

Man, it's good to have this layout done overall. Gives me time to tweak and add crap as I see fit. Plus I'm proud, since it's fully HTML 4 compliant on every page which I can control the code for. You probably don't care, but it's something that matters to me. :)
