Slight gap here into which I had intended to post some wedding related stuff. Thanks to Greg's recommendation on upgrading some webserver features, my server (and now his!) died. This put a huge kink in the update progress and literally killed my intention to update my page layout.
So onto the topic above. A few months ago I broke my utility knife doing some maintenance on stuff. I went for the longest time without one, but during our recent overnight to upgrade the Precinct at work, I felt the loss pretty heavy. I used Alex's
Gerber Multitool several times during the night and was generally pleased with the functionality. Feeling the loss again today, I went out and purchased one.
Several people (Becca!) make fun of me for wearing my flashlight all the time, but I can't even begin to count the number of times that it's been unbelievably handy when I needed it, including during some post-wedding pranks at the reception. However, as a famous MIT nerd once said, 'Real nerds carry tools', and so I find myself now toting a utility pouch and a flashlight, one on each hip. At any given time, you can find me carrying a multi-tool, a flash light, a flash drive with all of the software I'd conceivably need to do just about anything helpful, a pen, a pewter lightsaber on my keychain, and other random goodies which vary.
